Este trabajo re煤ne una serie de art铆culos y cartas publicadas en 2013 y 2014 que dan cuenta de la bancarrota de la Revoluci贸n Bolivariana en Venezuela.
La situaci贸n que se vive all铆 ha despertado gran atenci贸n en amplias franjas de la clase trabajadora. Lo que hace 15 a帽os el castrismo y la izquierda mundial presentaron p茅rfidamente como “socialismo del siglo XXI” hoy es una pesadilla para las masas explotadas. Es el final de una tragedia: el ocaso del chavismo, Venezuela entregada al imperialismo, al FMI y los grandes bancos de Wall Street, mientras los trabajadores se amontonan en la basura buscando algo de comida entre los desechos y la oligarqu铆a intenta volver al poder con la MUD.
Este es el desenlace contemplado por el marxismo para todo experimento nacionalista burgu茅s en el mundo colonial y semicolonial desde que la Oposici贸n de Izquierda de la III Internacional sac贸 las lecciones de la Revoluci贸n China de 1925-27. Como toda clase poseedora, las burgues铆as nativas les temen m谩s a la clase obrera que al imperialismo, ante quien terminan rindi茅ndose y pactando tarde o temprano.
Revelar la mec谩nica interna de este proceso hist贸rico es el objeto de “Ascenso y ocaso del chavismo”, que aborda la cuesti贸n con el m茅todo del marxismo, en documentos elaborados al calor de los acontecimientos, sin falso objetivismo, reflejando la intervenci贸n viva de los socialistas revolucionarios en los acontecimientos, contra los programas de colaboraci贸n de clases de la izquierda venezolana y mundial.
La plena confirmaci贸n de las caracterizaciones y pron贸sticos planteados en estos art铆culos demuestran la superioridad te贸rica del marxismo como m茅todo cient铆fico, no s贸lo para orientarse en pol铆tica revolucionaria sino tambi茅n para comprender los grandes fen贸menos sociales del capitalismo moderno.

This paper brings together a series of articles and letters published in 2013 and 2014, which account for the bankruptcy of the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela.
The situation there attracted a great deal of attention from big factions the working class. What 15 years ago Castroism and the world left perfidiously presented as "Socialism of the 21st Century", today it is a nightmare for the exploited masses. It is the end of a tragedy: the decline of Chavism, Venezuela delivered to imperialism, the IMF and the big banks of Wall Street, while workers pile up in the trash looking for some food among the waste and the oligarchy –through MUD- tries to return to power.
This is the outcome contemplated by Marxism for any bourgeois nationalist experiment in the colonial and semicolonial world, since the Left Opposition of the Third International drew lessons from the Chinese Revolution of 1925-27. Like all possessing classes, native bourgeoisies are more afraid of the working class than of imperialism, before whom they end up giving up and agreeing sooner or later.
Revealing the internal mechanics of this historical process is the object of "Rise and decline of Chavism," which addresses the question with the method of Marxism, in documents prepared in the heat of events, without false objectivism, reflecting the lively intervention of the Socialists Revolutionaries in the events, against the programs of class collaboration of the Venezuelan and world-wide left.
The full confirmation of the characterizations and forecasts presented in these articles demonstrates the theoretical superiority of Marxism as a scientific method; not only to orientate itself in revolutionary politics but also to understand the great social phenomena of modern capitalism.
